This result occurs in the Galilea village, of the municipality of Palestina, south of the department of Huila.
In response to the call made by the people of the municipalities of Palestina, Acevedo, Pitalito and San Agustín, Huila, for intimidating actions and threats by members of the Teófilo Forero Mobile Column, of the Segunda Marquetalia, troops of the Infantry Battalion N.° 27 Magdalena, of the Ninth Brigade, with the Military Intelligence Battalion N.° 5, in a coordinated operation with SIPOL, GRATE Group of the National Police and the Attorney General of the Nation, continue the operation against this armed group in the Galilea village, of the municipality of Palestina.
There the soldiers of Colombian National Army arrested four individuals, including a woman, who would be alleged members of this criminal structure.
As part of the military operation, a drone was seized with which National Army troops were being monitored and possible terrorist operations, 3 Fal rifles, rifle magazines, 5.56 mm caliber ammunition, a carrier vest and abundant military accessories material.
It should be mentioned that these individuals would have participated in the combat of last November 27, where the Breiner Soldier Yesid Mora Peralta was killed, who gave his life to protect the inhabitants in this area of the department of Huila.
Through this important result, Colombian National Army directly hit the armed wing of this organization outlaw, preventing its territorial expansion in the department of Huila. This illegal groups sought to carry out operations of constraint on the inhabitants, forced recruitment, as well as homicides and extortions in the control of the territory.
