Last month the Military Gaula rescued 5 citizens and obtained de release 4 more people.
For the crime of kidnapping they captured 5 individuals, for extortion 24, and for other crimes they captured 33 criminals belonging to different Organized Armed Groups and Organized Criminal Groups.
One of the operations worth noting was the one carried out by the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of Risaralda, who in coordination with the Gaula of the Police, on June 18, 2020,captured 10 individuals belonging to the Los Gavilanes criminal group.
In the same way, the operation carried out in the department of Chocó by the military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), reported 11 members of the GAO Clan del Golfo captured, increasing the weakening of this criminal structure.
The Gaula units in Arauca reported four rescues and two liberations, in Putumayo one rescue; in La Guajira one liberation, in Valle one liberation. In the same way Gaula reports captures for the crime of kidnapping. In Risaralda it reports four captures, in Ariari one. For the crime of extortion, in Risaralda 13 captures, in Chocó 11, in Antioquia four, in Ariari four, in Santander three, in Meta two, in Norte de Santander two, in Córdoba one, in the Urabá one, in the Caribe region one, in Bolívar one and in the eastern region of Antioquia one.
