The Naval Academy of Cadets "Almirante Padilla" is aware of the importance of the internationalization of education and its relationships with the construction of a global citizenship.

It is a whole adventure of cultural exchange for the Colombian Marine Guard Willian Roncallo Duncan, who is currently following studies of his military naval training process in the Naval Academy of the United Kingdom.

Next August, this Marine Guard will study instructions on various naval issues at the Britannia Royal Naval College Dartmouth of the British Navy. At the end of his training period, he will be Officer and will return to the Naval Academy of Cadets "Almirante Padilla" to acquire his professional degree in Naval Sciences.

Roncallo is a young “Barranquillero”, 21, who entered the Naval School of Cadets "Almirante Padilla" with the desire to serve his Homeland in the National Navy. Belonging to the institution, has led him to have unforgettable experiences, such as this, which undoubtedly contributes positively to his training as a naval leader.

"During this course I had the opportunity to conduct general check exercises on boats, maneuvers in boats, obtaining the certificate to sail on the Dart River. I participated in sports competitiosn conducted by divisions, obtaining the first place; I participated in Share Holders, a talk about the Royal Navy; I have learned about all the swords used by the British Navy, its handling and safety procedures. It has been a very enriching experience, because it has led me to expand the knowledge of the British Navy," said the Marine Guard Roncallo.
