Troops of the Sixth Division of the National Army through the Twelfth Brigade, in execution of the strategic axis of Institutional Control of the Territory in the frame of the “Victoria Plus” Plan, dealt blows against the instability generators in the department of Caquetá during the last month.
Through joint, coordinated and interagency operations with the Colombian Air Force, the National Navy, the Police and the Attorney General of the Nation, 13 people were captured for different crimes and two are related to drug trafficking.
Three production of coca base paste laboratories were dismantled and 153 kilos of coca leaf and 187 gallons of alkaloid in process were found by troops.
In the same way, the strength of the operations in the rural area led to the recovery of 132 livestock units and the eradication of 142 hectares of illicit plantations.
Finally, 79 cartridges of different sizes and 15 meters of detonating cord were found by troops through the discovery of illegal hideouts, neutralizing attacks on the Public Force and the civilian population.
