The permanent operations in the road axis framed in the Ipsilon plan, led units of the Ninth Brigade and the Huila Police to the confiscation of a load of cigarettes, for the alleged crime of smuggling, and the finding of 26 kilos of marijuana.
In the first operation carried out in the municipality El Cedro in the municipality of Pitalito Huila, after an inspection of a cargo vehicle, soldiers of the Infantry Battalion No.27 Magdalena, found 23,980 packs of Change Double Carnival cigarettes, valued at approximately 120 million pesos.
At the time of the request, the driver did not present any document proving the provenance and legality of the merchandise, so, with the support of members of the security forces of the Huila Traffic and Transportation Police, it was confiscated.
At another point, this time in La Candelaria – Laberinto sector of the municipality of Paicol, soldiers from the Infantry Battalion No.26 Cacique Pigoanza and members of the Military Forces of the Huila Police Department, at a checkpoint, make a stop signal to the driver of a private vehicle, who ignores it and escaped, abandoning two sacks with 26 kilos of Cripy type marijuana.
