In the departments of Caquetá and Putumayo, the Colombian Air Force permanently works thanks to the use of airplanes, helicopters and remotely piloted aircraft, which have flown the length and breadth of Caquetá and Putumayo.
During the last weeks the Colombian Air Force of the Air Combat Command No.6 has done works in the different municipalities of Caquetá and Putumayo, this in order to intensify the security of Colombians within the framework of Plan Democracia.
In the same way, overflights day and night have been carried out for reconnaissance missions, with the goal of analyzing and verifying the strategic points where the citizens will come to vote; on the other hand, military personnel of the Air Command Combat N. 6 is prepared to work in the various Unified Command posts that will be established in these two departments.
