In the municipality of La Plata, in the department of Huila, directors, community leaders, board presidents and local authorities met in the frame of program 'Government in your municipality' to know the progress of the projects that are carried out by the Governor of Huila.
The meeting was attended by more than 500 community and social leaders of the region, who thanked the projects that have been carried out in their communities and that have led to progress.
With the presence of the National Army, the Colombian Air Force and the National Police, the Governor of Huila, highlighted the union of the institutions and the work they have done to shield the Department from any illegal group that tries to disturb the tranquility and progress of the region.
Colonel Pedro Arnulfo Sánchez Suárez, Commander of the Air Combat Command No.4 said that "the first need of any human being is to live and that (need) is protected by those who are willing to give their lives as soldiers of the homeland."
The Commander of the CACOM4 in the same way left an important message for all those who have highlighted for their initiatives and leadership and today excel in their communities, inviting them to follow the path of education and teaching of principles and values to be imparted at home, because home is where good wellbeing and legality are formed to build a better country.
