In the city of Halifax, Canada, from May 12 to 18, 2024, the LXIV PREPLAN 2024 of the SICOFAA Air Forces Cooperation System will be held, with the purpose of reviewing issues related to air safety, regional air cooperation and strengthening interoperability.
Within the framework of the working sessions, the delegate officers of the SICOFAA member countries, observer countries and delegates of the Inter-American Air Forces Academy (IAAFA) participate. During these sessions the contents of the previous year's cycle will be reviewed and topics will be proposed.
This relationship leads to the exchange knowledge and also to the standardization of procedures; additionally, the agenda items that will be discussed by the Commanders of the Air Forces of the Americas at the next CONJEFAMER in 2025 are defined.
The Air Forces are meeting with the commitment to continue strengthening resources, establishing procedures to achieve a conformation of air operations and multinational command and control operations, to face situations that may arise in the region and that require immediate operation.
