Alias "Boiser" was brought to justice. He is member of the GAO “Clan del Golfo” in the Colombian Pacific

In the frame of the 'Bicentennial' Plan and in a heavy operation that the National Navy maintains in the department of Chocó, it was possible to bring alias 'Boiser' to justice. He is member of the Organized Armed Group - GAO “Clan del Golfo”. In a parallel operation, the finding of war material, in the municipality of Bahía Cupica, of the municipality of Bahía Solano, took place.

 

Alias ​​'Boiser', according to his criminal record, entered 12 years ago to the Pacific Front of the 'Clan del Golfo'. He is accused of committing extortion and robbery crimes against merchants in the municipality, as well as intimidating the civilian population and carrying out activities of drug trafficking.

 

According to intelligence and follow-up tasks, conducted during more than a month, the individual was found in an urban house in ​​Bahía Cupica, where the troops of the Marine Infantry Brigade No.2 arrived, looking for him.

 

Alias ​​'Boiser', who tried to flee, was surrounded by troops who brought him to justice. Subsequently, the individual reported the location of an AK-47 rifle, two magazines and 57 cartridges of 7.62 millimeters, buried in a jungle area near the house.

 

In a parallel patrol and territorial control operation, in the municipality of Bahía Cupica, the troops of the Marine Infantry Brigade No.2, found an illegal hideout buried in a jungle area that contained a 9 mm Prieto Beretta pistol, a magazine for pistol and 14 cartridges 9 millimeters, elements that according to naval intelligence information, were used by members of the 'Clan del Golfo' to commit their illicit activities.

 

Alias ​​'Boiser' and the material found were taken to the municipality of Bahía Solano, where they were put into custody of the authorities.
