In the framework of its humanitarian operation and following the call of the President of the Municipal Council of Garzón, the National Army sent an ambulance with medical personnel, for the transfer of 10 people who required urgent dialysis treatment.
The patients reunited in the Garzon Municipality Transportation Terminal where they were taken by the Military Institution to be supported with ambulance transportation to the city of Neiva.
The foregoing in order to prevent being stopped due to the indigenous demonstrations that at this time are concentrated in the sector Puente Pescador, of the municipality of Hobo, in the department of Huila.
The medical unit passed the blockade zone and managed to reach the capital city of Huila with the patients, overcoming the emergency that to the citizens represents not counting on the treatment.
