After a month of intelligence work it was possible to achieve the dismantling of a national network that perpetrated drug trafficking and firearms and ammunition trafficking, in this case, allegedly for the Western Front of the ELN in the department of Chocó.

In the military operations of territorial control, the National Army, in coordination with the Attorney General's Office, in the Santa Ana neighborhood of the municipality of Bello, an illegal hideout of war material was found. Inside troops found five rifles, a machinegun M-60, seven pistols, 18 magazines for rifle, thirteen magazines for pistol, three grenades, 1545 rifle cartridges and other elements of war.

In the same way, troops found 8,107 grams of marijuana, 1,053 grams of cocaine hydrochloride and 91 grams of the substance known as Tusi, belonging to the Organized Criminal Group “Los Pachely”, a structure that has links with drug trafficking and is at the service of the GAO 'La Oficina'.

The raid was possible thanks to the intelligence and planning work carried out by the members of the Fourth Brigade in the city and the information provided through the Civic Participation Network, thus damaging the financial subsystem of these organized crime groups.

All the material of war and military garments was put into custody of the authorities for judicial process.
