The hallucinogen would have a commercial cost of about 300 million pesos, about USD 67 700
Troops of the Twelfth Brigade of Colombian National Army, in coordination with the National Police, found 500 kilograms of marijuana, which were transported in a vehicle traveling through the village of Caraño, a rural area of the capital city of the department of Caquetá.
Through search and control tasks, the soldiers found the narcotic in a vehicle that was being driven by a woman, who will have to answer to the authorities for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotics.
The drug, which apparently came from the department of Cauca, would be destined for the neighboring countries of Ecuador, Brazil and Peru.
In this way, Colombian National Army will continue to work in coordination with the regional authorities to continue damaging the illicit activities of the residual organized armed groups that commit crimes in the Golden Gate of the Colombian Amazon region, and that disrupt law and order in the region.
