In the event, it was possible to capture three people, who traveled with the drug hidden in the bottom of a van.

Troops of the National Army in military operations, with the support of the National Police, and following the recommendations of the early warning No.026 of 2018, achieved the discovery of 222 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and the capture of three members of the Western substructure of the Organized Armed Group Clan del Golfo.

It was through the information provided by the Civic Participation Network that it was possible to identify the vehicle that was in the village Potrero, in the municipality of Abriaquí, later, at a checkpoint carried out by the Army and Police on the way, the individuals were intercepted and captured.

Once the truck was verified, it was detected that the drug was hidden in the lower part of the vehicle to go unnoticed. However, thanks to the capabilities and training of soldiers and police, it was possible to confirm the presence of cocaine within the vehicle.

Those captured were put into custody of the authorities, who ordered to put them into prison.
