Army and SENA will provide productive work training to those who serve military service

This project seeks to train citizens who serve their military service to the Homeland on topics that are useful when they reenter civil life.

Bogot谩. The Command of Recruitment and Control of Reserves, begins the process of incorporation of the third contingent of soldiers, who will serve their military service to the Homeland.

About 15,000 men will be incorporated, from August 1st to 17th of this year, in the 60 military offices in all regions of the country. The soldiers that enter the ranks of the military forces, must be citizens in legal age, between 18 and 24 years old.

During serving the military service, the citizens will receive training intended to reentering civil life, under the guidance of the National Service of Learning, SENA. If at the end of the military service soldier wishes to learn technical labor training, he may enter this State institution.

In the same way, whoever serves military service and obtains his military card as a first class reservist, will have advantages in the selection process for programs or policies to get a job, as well as priority to access training courses in the framework of the Public Employment Service.

On the other hand, it is important to say that since the day of the incorporation in active service, until the dismiss date, the citizen will be attended by the State in all its basic needs, corresponding to health, accommodation, food, clothing, welfare and will have a monthly bonus by 30% of the Legal Monthly Minimum Wage, which for this year is $ 234,000 Colombian pesos.
