The National Army carried out a disinfection activity in common areas and school in the Vetas Central district, in the municipality of Tibú, in the department of Norte de Santander, to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The activity was carried out by men of the Builders Engineer Battalion No. 50, who spread a chemical solution with the help of spraying machines, which helps to eliminate the COVID-19 virus.
During the activity, health professionals gave masks and brochures to the inhabitants who were in these areas and reminded the community the measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
The Vulcano Task Force will continue to ensure the protection and safety of the inhabitants of the Catatumbo region. In the same way, it calls on people to comply with the mandatory preventive isolation decreed by the National Government.
