In compliance with the Ayacucho Plus Campaign Plan, Colombian National Army, with its troops of the Fifth Division, Eighth Brigade, the Elite Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the National Police and the N.°7 Air Combat Command, on March 22, in the morning, gave an important result in the municipality of Sevilla, Valle del Cauca.
In the framework of military operations, soldiers of the 5th High Mountain Battalion engaged a combat with a structure of the 57th Front Yaír Bermúdez, in the village La Ye de la Unión, in the municipality of Sevilla, Valle del Cauca.
In the search of the area after the combat, it was possible to establish the death in the framework of operations of two men, members of the Frente 57 Yaír Bermúdez, who are currently the object of identification; one of them apparently would be the head of finance of the structure.
2 rifles, a handgun, 10 rifle magazines and abundant war material and military accessories for the exclusive use of the Military Forces were found by troops at the scene.
In the same way, at the site, the Elite Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the National Police carried out the urgent acts, the technical inspections and the investigation, with the support of a harpy helicopter of the Colombian Aerospace Force.
