Army, Navy and National Police found 1,205 kilos of marijuana in Puerto Gaitán, Meta

In joint and coordinated military operations, an individual who transported marijuana, which apparently would have as a final destination the international markets, was captured.

 

In the Carimagua village, in the municipality of Puerto Gaitán, troops of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), the Judicial Investigation section, Sijin (Judicial Police), the Regional of Naval and Fluvial Intelligence of the East, Rinflúo, of the National Navy, found a truck where 1,117 blocks of marijuana Creepy were being transported.

 

It is important to highlight that the 1,205 kilograms of marijuana would represent approximately one million two hundred personal doses, with an approximate cost of 800 million pesos in national markets, and up to 12,000 million pesos in international markets.

 

Once again the chain of drug trafficking is hit. This chain constitutes the main finances source for organized armed groups.

 

During this operation, an individual was apprehended, who, according to information, would be at the service of drug trafficking in the department of Cauca, in association with the Organized Armed Group, GAO, ‘Puntilleros Libertadores’ del Vichada.

 

The man and the materials were put into custody of the Attorney General's Office, for their respective judicial procedure.
