In military operations, alias “Pacho” died and alias “Jordán” was captured; they are members of the organized armed group (GAO) Los Caparros.

Troops of the National Army, in coordination with the National Police and the Attorney General's Office, in military and police operations, and following the recommendations of early warnings No.028 of 2018 and 020 of 2019, neutralized in combat to two individuals.

As a result of the military operation that is being carried out in the Lower Cauca of Antioquia and thanks to the information provided by the Civic Participation Network, the soldiers of the National Army reached the Pipiola sector, el Rayo village, in the municipality of Tarazá, in Antioquia, where there was a confrontation against criminals, which resulted in the death of an individual known as “Pacho” and the capture of alias “Jordan”.

These individuals would be responsible for the criminal operation that was carried out in the same sector last Friday, where a person who was traveling through the place was killed hitting houses and establishments.

During the military operation a long weapon, 5 magazines, 2 multipurpose vests and 413 cartridges were found by troops. The captured was put into custody of the authorities.
