The National Army, in coordinated operations with the National Police, managed to deal a direct blow to the chain of narcotics trafficking and distribution in the capital city of the departement of Meta, with the arrest of an individual who would be in charge of these illegal operations in the Amarilo sector.
Thanks to the intelligence operations it was possible to find this individual, making the arrest by means of a search procedure endorsed and carried out by the Villavicencio Prosecutor's Office.
During the operation of the Military Forces, 16 kilos of creepy type marijuana, 100 grams of cocaine were found by troops, as well as elements for the dosage of narcotic drugs such as blender, precision scale, plastic buckets, bags and razor. Additionally, elements for the preparation of the substance were found by troops, including ketamine, essences and dyes.
These items were valued at $6,500,000 COP, which complement $6,200,000 found in cash. The elements were put into custody of the authority and the arrested man began his respective prosecution process for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotics.
The troops of the National Army reiterate their commitment to carry out decisive military operations against criminal structures and to ensure humane security.
Finally, this result generates among the civilians security and tranquility to continue to conduct the realization of their daily activities.
On the other hand, the decrease in the sale and trafficking of narcotics in the capital city of Meta is achieved.
