Civil and military authorities serve about 460 Indigenous people of the community of El Brazo, Posamanza, Boroboro and Bacurru Purru, who moved to the Valle, sector of the municipality of Bah铆a Solano in the department of Choc贸, after the violence that occurred last Thursday in which one of its members died.

Against this background, the Mayor of Bah铆a Solano, Ulmer Mosquera, convened an extraordinary Security Council to take the necessary measures to restore law and order in the area.

During the meeting, the local representative, together with representatives of the Colombian Navy, the National Police, the Attorney General's Office and municipal authorities, analyzed the situation and generated commitments to ensure the return of the families.

Troops of the Navy Battalion No. 23 carry out military operations and units of the Air-naval Group conducted overflights in the area to find and identify those responsible for the crime and the other Organized Armed Groups that commit crimes in the area, to prevent their criminal operations, in order to contribute to the improvement of security conditions to allow the return of the inhabitants in their territories.
