Over the weekend crews of the Huey II and Bell-212 aircraft of the Colombian Air Force of the Air Combat Command No. 4, have flown over the regions of Tolima, Huila and Cundinamarca, ensuring the safety and tranquility of the inhabitants in order to counteract any operation by terrorist groups.
The military and police units are at the highest level of alert working jointly and in coordination. The Air Force is launching brochures and conducting airborne loudspeakers operations, inviting the community to report any act or any suspicious person to the National Police or by dialing toll free number 123.
Additionally, CACOM 4, is conducting overflights of visual and technical surveys in the Tolima, Cundinamarca and Huila regions to protect energy and road infrastructure, supporting from the air the personnel of the Army and National Police, which at the ground through positions of control monitor the roads, achieving adequate and legitimate firmness to protect the inhabitants.
