In a coordinated operation with the National Police, the Colombian Navy managed to capture alias 'CD', ringleader of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo.
The operation took place in the urban area of the municipality of Sincelejo, where the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) – Sucre, of the Navy of Colombia and the Judicial Investigation Section of the Police, materialized the capture warrant against the individual, 35, issued by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office against organized crime.
The capture belonged to the criminal organization for 10 years and is accused of carrying out joint activities conducted by the groups of the 'Clan del Golfo' that commit crimes in the municipalities of Sincelejo, Corozal, Morroa, Sampués, Sincé and Palmitos, in the department of Sucre. In the same way, he is the alleged perpetrator of the murder of a man in the municipality of Sincelejo, in December 2016.
Alias 'CD' was put into custody of the authorities for his prosecution for the crimes of homicide and fabrication, trafficking and carrying of firearms and ammunition.
