After an arduous work of intelligence, it was established that alias 'Yurani' had 12 years in the criminal structure, where she entered as a base guerrilla of the 'Libardo Mora Toro' front.
In the framework of the Bicentennial Plan “Heroes of Freedom” through a military operation, troops of the Vulcano Task Force in coordination with the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) achieved in the municipality of Ocaña, in the department of Norte of Santander, the capture of alias 'Yurani', head of subgroup of the organized Armed Group 'Los Pelusos'.
In her criminal record, there is the alleged participation in the attack on the military base of the municipality of Hacarí in 2015, an action where two soldiers lost their lives. In the same way, she would be involved in the murder of two brothers, in the municipality of Las Mercedes, in Norte de Santander, in 2016.
In 2018, she was appointed head of the finances subgroup of the organized armed group 'Los Pelusos', front 'Hugo Alberto Aguilar', commanded by alias el 'Ahijado'; having under her command the collection money from extortions made to merchants in the municipalities of Abrego, Playa de Belén, Ocaña and Aguachica, in the department of Cesar.
Alias 'Yurani', was in the list of the 25 most wanted of the department of Norte de Santander. The woman was transferred to the city of Cúcuta, where she was put into custody of the authorities.
