Citizens of The department of La Guajira benefited with medical and humanitarian assistance

Ciudadanos de La Guajira fueron beneficiados con asistencia médica y humanitaria

Through a coordinated work with the Government of The department of La Guajira, the CardioClinic Foundation, Procaps Foundation and the mayors of the municipalities of San Juan, Distracción and Fonseca, a Medical and Humanitarian Assistance activity was carried out, in which 651 people benefited, including elderly adults and Wayúu and Wiwa indigenous communities.

 

During the activity, 30 food baskets were distributed to the elderly of the inhabitants of San Juan, and medical assistance and advice were provided in Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Phonology, Dentistry, Medicine, Psychology, legal advice, Pediatrics and Alternative Medicine.

 

In coordination with the Government of The department of La Guajira, the mayor's office of the municipality of Fonseca, the Wayúu people of the Atico village were visited, where 120 members of this community benefited with clothes and food supplement Packs.

 

In this way, the Colombian Aerospace Force will continue to bring support and assistance hand in hand with public and private institutions to civilians, helping and strengthening ties with the citizens of the north of the country.
