Cleaning and debris collection activity due to the attack of the FARC dissidents

Jornada de limpieza y recolección de escombros, tras atentado de las disidencias de las Farc

The inhabitants of Guapi, Cauca department, in coordination with the municipal administration, the Colombian Navy and Colombian National Army, gathered in the main park of this municipality, to carry out the collection of debris and dirt, product of an explosion, as an act of rejection of the recent terrorist attack, perpetrated by the Residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Structure 30 Rafael Aguilera.

With the support of the Naval Institution, public and private institutions, and the community, the removal of the rubble of the more than 100 houses and commercial businesses that suffered damage to their structure was carried out, after the attack of the FARC dissidents that endangered the inhabitants, violating the norms of International Humanitarian Law and human rights.

Reaffirming its commitment to the well-being of the inhabitants of this region, the Colombian Navy joined this activity, led by the municipal administration; while continuing to conduct military operations to provide security in the region and counter the criminal activity of illegal groups that violate the fundamental rights of the inhabitants.
