Today we make an appeal to all the media, opinion leaders and citizens: let's not leave the children of those who gave everything for the country alone.
The Hijos de Honor (siblings of Honor) initiative, led by the Ministry of Defense in alliance with the Matamoros Corporation, seeks to work for the education and future of children who got orphaned after the loss of their heroes in the line of duty.
Each story represents an immense sacrifice, but in the same way a collective responsibility. To support their education is to honor the memory of those who protected Colombia.
We invite the media to join this cause, to amplify this message and move the whole country.
This is not just a campaign: it is a national commitment.
