Two C-40 Boeing 737 aircraft of the Colombian Aerospace Force will depart the ramp of the Military Air Transport Command (CATAM), with the important mission of returning to the country approximately 220 compatriots who are in Israel, in a coordinated work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia.
The intercontinental mission, will start at about 03:00 hours on October 11, 2023, the first aircraft of the Colombian Aerospace Force will take off from Bogota, its course, Tel Aviv; the FAC-1219 aircraft will make stops in Punta Cana and Lisbon, flying approximately 20 hours to Israel.
The second aircraft, FAC-1222, will take off on Wednesday, October 11, in the afternoon, heading to Lisbon, the FAC-1219 will arrive in this city with the first evacuated passengers and they will be transferred to the FAC-1222 to return to Colombia, the FAC-1219 will return to Tel Aviv for a second repatriation flight.
The Colombian Aerospace Force has conducted the diplomatic coordination and all the necessary efforts to ensure that the flights are carried out safely; the planes in the same way have military doctors and nurses in their crews.

La misi贸n intercontinental, iniciar谩 sobre las 03:00 horas del 11 de octubre de 2023, desde Bogot谩 despegar谩 la primera aeronave de la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana, su rumbo, Tel Aviv; el avi贸n FAC-1219 realizar谩 escalas en Punta Cana y Lisboa, volando aproximadamente 20 horas hasta Israel.
La segunda aeronave, FAC-1222, despegar谩 el mi茅rcoles 11 de octubre en horas de la tarde, con rumbo a Lisboa, a 茅sta ciudad llegar谩 el FAC-1219 con los primeros pasajeros evacuados y ser谩n transbordados al FAC-1222 para retornar a Colombia, el FAC-1219 retornar谩 a Tel Aviv para un segundo vuelo de repatriaci贸n.
La Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana ha adelantado las coordinaciones diplom谩ticas y todos los esfuerzos necesarios para que los vuelos se adelanten con seguridad; los aviones cuentan tambi茅n en sus tripulaciones con m茅dicos y enfermeros militares.
