On July 19, the Colombian Air Force, through the Air Combat Command No.5, in Rionegro, in the department of Antioquia paid a tribute to the heroes of the nation and their families, thanking them for their services to the country.
With a wreath lying by the Commander of the Unit, Colonel Jaime Andrés Betancur Londoño and the second Commander, Colonel Iván Darío Gómez Villegas, this date is commemorated, which precedes the celebration of July 20, glorifying the work of those who with sacrifice, honor and glory, lost their lives helping to maintain sovereignty and contributing to the peace of Colombians.
Through a solemn ceremony, the Colombian Air Force, shows its admiration and respect for the heroes who made a significant contribution to the security of Colombia exalting in the same way the dedication of the families of these heroes who proudly wore their uniforms until his last breath.
