In order to benefit one of the most remote communities in the department, the Colombian Air Force's Amazon Air Group provided air support to transport clothing donations that would later be distributed to children in the non-municipalized area of La Pedrera.
On this occasion, a Caravan C-208 aircraft was arranged to transport the boxes containing more than 700 items of clothing such as T-shirts, dresses, sweaters, shorts and blouses for minors under thirteen years old.
It is worth mentioning that the donation was made by Carolina Villegas, a Colombian woman who has been sponsoring children in indigenous communities in the Amazonas for several years, with whom the institution through the Department of Comprehensive Action has been working together.
