In order to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between the Military Forces of Colombia and Brazil, the opening ceremony to the Activity of Support for Binational Development of 2021 was held, in which the Colombian Air Force, the National Army, the Colombian Navy and the Solimoes Battalion of the Brazilian Army participated, in order to maintain cooperation of the Military Forces.

The formal ceremony took place at the school Escuela Normal Superior Sede C de Leticia, which was chaired by Colonel Elkin Darío Osorio Díaz, Commander of the Amazon Air Group and in which the commanders of the friend forces participated. This event was carried out in order to reiterate the union between the countries that is reflected in the different missions developed together.

This is done with the aim of strengthening teamwork among neighboring nations to maintain excellent relations and fulfill the important mission of defending sovereignty in this significant and strategic tri-border area of the country.

In this way, the Colombian Air Force reaffirms its commitment to benefit the Amazonian inhabitants and also to maintain good relations with neighboring countries, guaranteeing joint work to defend the rights of the inhabitants in the extreme south of the country.
