The General Command of the Military Forces, through the Directorate for the Implementation of Transparency Standards – DANTE-, under the guidelines of Zero Tolerance to corruption, carried out the launch of the campaign Transparency and Ethics With the Force of Our Forces in order to increase awareness and encourage the culture of integrity, transparency, ethics and fight against corruption within the military forces, strengthening the principles, values and virtues as a model of behavior that govern the actions and what military must be.
To fulfill this purpose, the campaign was designed giving rise to the icon called GLAUCUS, which is born from DANTE's shield and highlights the Owl as a symbol of wisdom and vigilance. This icon aims to increase awareness about the importance of transparency and ethics in the military.
The campaign becomes a digital tool to send awareness messages to all personnel in a dynamic way, generating a constant expectation with this character and reaching every soldier, Navy person and aviator in the national territory.
Within the framework of the implementation of Resolution No.1906 dated April 28, 2025, the General Command and the Military Forces adopted line 157, in order to strengthen transparency and the confidence of Colombians in institutions. This line is a tool to fight the fear of reporting that works with safe and confidential protocols.
Through these measures, the Colombian Military Forces demonstrate their commitment to transparency and integrity, working to prevent corruption and strengthen the confidence of the inhabitants.
