In Alvarado – department of Tolima and in the city of Bogotá, it was possible to arrest two men for alleged crimes such as aggravated homicide and forced displacement.
Soldiers of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Tolima of the Sixth Brigade of Colombian National Army with the support of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) Elite N.2, by means of judicial orders of the National Police and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, arrived in the rural area of the municipality of Alvarado - Tolima and in the city of Bogotá, where an the arrest of two individuals took place ; one of them would be a member of the terrorism support networks of the GAO-r frente 26 de Marzo of the Isaías Pardo bloc.
According to military intelligence information, the individual arrested in the city of Bogotá, would be involved in several processes in the north of Tolima, for illegal carrying of weapons and forced displacement crime for which he is investigated; while the one arrested in Alvarado, was accused of belonging to the RAER of the residual organized armed group frente 26 de Marzo, as a collaborator of logistical activities of the structure, who is in the same way involved in a process of forced displacement, for events that occurred in the village La Pedregosa of the municipality of Alvarado, where they tried to murder the owner of the land to appropriate it.
The individuals were put into custody of the authorities for the alleged crimes of forced displacement, aggravated homicide and illegal carrying of weapons.
These arrests made by the soldiers of the Sixth Brigade of Colombian National Army are part of the military operations aimed at neutralizing the factors of instability that disturb the tranquility of the inhabitants of Tolima.
