With discipline, precision and a high level of preparation, the Colombian National Army achieved the title of champion in the driver and shooting competitions held in the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt.
This prestigious event, in which representatives of 10 countries participated, evaluated the military's ability in handling armored vehicles and in shooting exercises in demanding conditions. The competition, called Force Skills, took place over two days and tested the training and dexterity of the participants.
The biggest challenge faced by the Colombian soldiers was the dynamics implemented in the shooting exercises, a highly strict test that demanded precision, control and strategy. However, thanks to the training and experience, they stood out and got the best times and scores of the competition.
This victory demonstrates the preparation and discipline of the officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of Colombian National Army, and reaffirms Colombia's ability to conduct successfully in international environments. The soldiers who participated in the competition belong to the Colombia N. 3 Battalion, a unit stationed in peacekeeping missions.
Currently, the country is part of the Multinational Observer Force in the Sinai Peninsula, a peacekeeping mission of great global relevance.
The members of the Military Forces of the country received the admiration of the participants, who highlighted their skills and resources. The key to success, according to the competitors, was to remain calm and patient with team cohesion, which led to an outstanding performance.
This achievement sends a clear message to all the soldiers of the country about training, discipline and perseverance as the bases to achieve excellence. Colombia continues to demonstrate that its military resources, backed by heavy training and demanding military operation conditions, are above international standards.
