El Ejército Nacional sostiene combates en el norte del departamento de Antioquia.

The military operation takes place in compliance with the defense of sovereignty, independence, the good condition of the national territory, constitutional order and framed in the Plan of the Ayacucho military operation.

National Army troops who were moving towards the Taque village, municipality of Toledo, in the Northern subregion of the department of Antioquia, to provide security and protection to the communities of this region of the country, were attacked apparently by alleged members of the residual organized armed groups 18 and 36, who converge in the area.

As a result of the fight, one of the members of the illegal armed group was killed, while three others were injured.

Soldier nurses on the place immediately attended the wounded, providing them with medical assistance, and later they were evacuated by air to a health care center in the city of Medellin.

The above implementing the norms of international humanitarian law.

The urgent acts were carried out by the authority and the war material was put into custody of authorities to initiate the due process of prosecution.
