More than 1,000 families benefited of the different health and recreation services carried out during this activity
After three months of meetings and coordination, partners of the unified operation, from different cities of the country, came together to bring health, well-being and presents to the inhabitants of the municipality of Uribe, department of Meta.
This great activity lasted three days, in which, regardless of the inclement weather and heavy rains, the medical specialists and the soldiers of the Rapid Deployment Force Nº 1, a unit of the Task Force Omega of Colombian National Army, led this great activity with the backing of the Support Battalion of Comprehensive operation and Development Nº 4, Municipal Mayor of Uribe, National Police, Universal Charity Institution, PRACCSO Foundation, DAR Foundation, and Henry Jerez, who carried out all the activities they had planned.
“After several months of planning, we want to bring well-being, health and joy to this region. We continue to ratify the commitment of Colombian National Army to the communities that need it most,” expressed Lieutenant Colonel Ronny Buitrago, commander of Rapid Deployment Battalion N°2.
More than 1,000 inhabitants of rural and urban areas were assisted by specialists in dentistry, nutrition, physiotherapy, gynecology, psychology, speech therapy, pediatrics, general medicine and ultrasound services. Similarly, in the different recreation and integration activities, more than 1,000 lunches and 500 presents were distributed to those who participated in this great activity.
