In the framework of the San Roque operation, the Colombian Navy continues to work uninterruptedly for the well-being of all Colombians.
From the Buenaventura District, more than 130 tons of humanitarian aid were arranged and sent by the Ministry of the Interior aboard a Unit afloat of the Pacific Naval Force. These kits of aid will be distributed in the municipalities of Guapi, Timbiquí and López de Micay.
With the support of the community, dozens of navy men with all the biosecurity measures, loaded on board the Logistics Support Ship ARC Bahía Colombia more than 7,000 food baskets with basic elements of the family basket.
Humanitarian aid will be distributed in coordination with the Municipal Mayor as follows: Guapi 4,000, López de Micay 2,624 and Timbiquí 938, for a total of 7,562 food baskets.
