The Colombian Navy through an operation planned and executed by the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), attached to the Pacific Naval Force, managed to capture alias 'El Negro', a member of the Organized Criminal Group ‘Banda Local’, when they traveled on a motorcycle, in the Los Angeles neighborhood of locality six of the Buenaventura District.
Five months ago, the Colombian Navy in coordination with the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation followed up on this individual, wanted with an arrest warrant for the crime of extortive kidnapping with aggravated circumstances, issued by the Third Municipal Criminal Court.
At the time of the capture, alias ‘El Negro’, 32 years old, had 650 thousand pesos in cash and the motorcycle.
This man who would be under the criminal command of alias 'MIAU', is accused of participating in the kidnapping of an administrator of ships in May, along with alias 'Gordo Lindo', second leader of this Group, who was in the same way captured by the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) de Buenaventura, of the Naval Institution, the last September.
