Troops of the Colombian Navy and the National Army, attached to the Joint Task Force Titan in coordination with the National Police, found and dismantled 20 laboratories used for the production of coca-based paste in the department of Choc贸.
This result was possible through two simultaneous operations in the municipality of Riosucio, specifically in the villages of La Loma, Cuchillo Blanco, Venecia, Santo Domingo, Playa Alta and in the municipality of Carmen del Dari茅n in the sectors of High-Guayabal and Despensa Baja, finding in these places, illegal laboratories containing in its interior 6,160 gallons of coca base in solution, 4,473 gallons of gasoline, 2,530 gallons of diesel fuel, 1,075 kg of lime, 675 kilograms of cement, 471 kg of ammonium sulfate, 335 kilograms of coca leaf chopped, 60 kilograms of permanganate, 11 kilograms of sulfuric acid, 12 rice scales, two plantation pulverization devices and a scythe.
The structures and the material of solid and liquid precursors were destroyed, in a controlled way, at the scene, complying with environmental regulations for the preservation and care of the environment. No arrests were made during the operations.
