Colombian Navy units have found 1,066 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride in the Colombian Caribbean and Pacific.

The Colombian Navy, in coordination with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, managed to find an illegal hideout containing 465 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride that were stored in an empty house in the La Paz neighborhood, an urban area of the city of Cartagena.

After monitoring the house for several months, the troops of the Caribbean Naval Commandos Group deployed to the place finding the illegal hiding place and with the support of a trained dog of the Coast Guard Station of Cartagena find 465 kilograms distributed in 17 cardboard boxes.

Once the material was found, it was taken to the Coast Guard Station of Cartagena, where units of the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office carried out the Preliminary Identification Tests Homologated-PIPH, leaving positive result for 465 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.
