Colombian Navy participates in the march for peace in San Onofre, in Sucre

The Colombian Navy, through the Caribbean Naval Force and the Navy Infantry Brigade No.1, in coordination with the Municipal Office of San Onofre, in the department of Sucre and the National Police, conducted the March for peace, tranquility and the rebirth of San Onofre in which the schools, public and private institutions and all the inhabitants participated massively.

 

This activity, which managed to integrate several sectors of society, counted on the presence of more than 800 people, who became protagonists of this initiative for life, freedom and reconciliation, as a sign of integration and commitment in order to maintain the stability of this area of ​​the country.

 

With the march, which was carried out through the main streets of the municipality, the inhabitants expressed their rejection of the acts of violence executed by the groups outlaw against them.

 

The inhabitants of San Onofre are a symbol of tenacity and courage, overcoming the traces of the violence of the past and today they become generators of peace and prosperity in the subregion of the Montes de María.
