One of the structures would belong to the Residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, structure 6, Jaime Martínez and the other, to the Omar Silgado group of the ELN.
In a decisive work to hit the drug trafficking chain and protect the security of communities, the Colombian Navy, together with Colombian National Army, found and destroyed two laboratories for the production of coca base paste, in the Colombian Pacific.
The first rudimentary structure was found by troops of the Navy Infantry River Battalion No.42 of the Colombian Navy and the Infantry Battalion No.56 of Colombian National Army, in the village Santa Ana, López de Micay – Cauca municipality, where 18 gallons of coca base, 210 gallons of processed gasoline and 10 kilograms of cement were found by troops. This laboratory would apparently belong to the Residual Organized Armed Group E6 Jaime Martínez that commits crimes in the area.
In the second operation, troops of Navy Infantry Battalion No.21, in El Zabaleta, Buenaventura - Valle del Cauca, found two rudimentary camps, with a maximum capacity for 10 people. These structures were allegedly used for the production of coca base paste and belonged to the Omar Silgado group of the Organized Armed Group ELN, which was recently in the area.
