Commander of Colombian National Army visited in the Central Military Hospital to the wounded soldiers in Nariño

Comandante del Ejército Nacional visitó en el Hospital Militar Central a los soldados heridos en Nariño

Several generals of the General Staff, as well as the National Association for Social action, ANASE, the institution accompanied the soldiers, who received not only a voice of encouragement, but in the same way elements that provide well-being at this time.

 

During the tour, General Luis Emilio Cardozo Santamaría, commander of Colombian National Army, greeted the 19 soldiers who were taken the night before from the department of Nariño to the capital city of the Republic, to receive specialized medical assistance and start all the psychosocial work for them and their families.

 

During his visit, he met with thirteen soldiers and some family members, men who are resilient and motivated to continue fulfilling the institutional mission. He in the same way shared with them an inspiring message and handed over a morale and well-being kit to each one, as a sign of affection and accompaniment by an entire country due to this tragic accident.

 

He in the same way greeted the families of the six soldiers who were in the Intensive Care Unit and made all the resources of the institution available for their speedy improvement.

 

Of the Central Military Hospital they gave a positive report on the health of the soldiers, and assured that everything will be arranged so that the soldiers and their families have the necessary assistance for their speedy recovery.
