In the framework of the program 'Blue Wings for Peasant Development' led by the Air Combat Command No.6, CACOM 6, a strategic meeting was held with the Governor and the Indigenous reservation El Quince, in the municipality of Solano, in the department of Caquetá.

The meeting with the indigenous leaders was chaired by Colonel Adilson Bueno Pineda, commander of the Tres Esquinas Air Base, in which the basic needs and health problems in the communities (indigenous reservations) El Quince, El Doce, and Guayabal, were verified. Next March will be benefited with a great Development Support Activity, in which specialists and medicines will be delivered totally for free with the support of the Professional Officers of the Reserve of the Colombian Air Force.

On the other hand, topics to improve communication and security with the communities were discussed, to continue their economic, social and cultural development.

Mr. Dionisio Vargas Cacique, of the El Quince indigenous community, expressed his gratitude to the Colombian Air Force, expressing a greeting of congratulations to the institution on behalf of the entire community.

This is how the Colombian Air Force will continue to be committed to social responsibility in the department of Caquetá, carrying out this type of activity in remote areas and in areas of difficult access with specialized medical assistance at no cost.
