The military operation that hits common crime in a powerful way was reported in the municipality of Los Patios, Department of Norte de Santander.
Within the framework of a stability operation against crimes that attack individual freedom, kidnapping, extortion and human trafficking, the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the Department of Norte de Santander in coordination with the GAULA (ANTI-EXTORTION AND ANTI-KIDNAPPING GROUP) Police, report the death in the framework of military operations, of the individual known as Jota.
Intelligence work established the place where the search procedure was carried out to make the arrest, during the execution of the maneuver; the alleged offender proceeds to attack the lives of the members of the military unit, who when repelling the threat, report his death within the framework of military operations. It should be noted that the individual was being accused of his participation in the latest violent acts reported in the city of Cúcuta, added to the collection of money product of extortions against different productive groups; in the same way, of the threats to the municipal authorities, using different methods of coercion and intimidating messages.
A .38 caliber revolver, cartridges, printed material and a balaclava were found by troops at the scene of the operation.
This result complements the recent operation where nine individuals responsible for disturbing the peace of mind through the crime of extortion and operations against trade sector were arrested in Cúcuta.
