Within the framework of the Ayacucho Plus Plan, of the Second Brigade, through the Combat Engineer Battalion No. 2, in coordination with the National Police, carried out an important heavy operation against the Carlos Daniel Fulaye Vargas Substructure, of the organized armed group, GAO, Clan del Golfo, in the municipality of Juan de Acosta, in the department of Atlántico.

This cargo would belong to the Carlos Daniel Fulaye Vargas Substructure, of the GAO Clan del Golfo. In addition, a 9 mm caliber pistol with three cartridges of the same caliber.
In an attempt to prevent the finding, alleged members of this criminal organization offered, by means of a telephone call, 400 million pesos to the commander of the platoon in charge of the operation, a bribe that was categorically rejected by the troop.
