In search and river control operations, troops of the Colombian Navy with the National Army, located and destroyed two laboratories used for the processing of coca base paste in the department of Bol铆var.
The first discovery occurred in the village La Nutria, in the municipality of Tiquisio, where it was destroyed in a controlled way a laboratory that contained a barrel with gasoline prepared, and 50 kg of cement, 50 kg of lime, 200 gallons of gasoline and 300 kilograms of coca leaf chopped.
On the other hand, a second rudimentary laboratory was found in El Platanal village of the same Bolivarian municipality, in which three metal barrels were found by troops that inside contained 40 gallons of prepared gasoline, 165 gallons of DIESEL, 25 kilograms of cement, 25 kilograms of solid ammonia and a gallon of liquid ammonia. Upon completion of the inspection by members of the Military Forces it was destroyed in controlled conditions.
These results hit the finances of the Luis Fernando Gutierrez substructure of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo that commits crimes in this region of the country.
