With a multidimensional approach to health security, the National Army, through unified operation, carried out a successful Development Support Activity, providing remote families with health, beauty, recreation and State services, improving their living conditions and contributing to the progress of this region of the country.
In coordination with the Municipal Mayor's Office, the National Police, regional companies and presidents of the Communal Accion Board, it was possible to bring the services of the State and the private sector for the benefit of children, youth, adults and specific groups, such as pregnant women, people with disabilities and infants, meeting their most pressing needs in the services of general medicine, dentistry, psychology, nutrition and vaccination towards the prevention of Covid-19; 1,220 people accessed the activity carried out at the facilities of the School of Lejan铆as, Meta.
The activity was attended by the National Army, the Professional Officers of the Reserve and the Ariari Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing, Commissariat of Family and Families in Action, Victims Unit, Student Medical Association, ACOME, Regional Hospital of Lejan铆as, Antonio Nari帽o University, Military District No.5, Consuerte, Corcumvi Municipal Cultural Corporation, Idermeta, Cosbell Beauty School and Avardesing company.
In the same way, government and private institutions participated and, in addition to health care, provided information of interest in the social and family issues, educational services and legal advice and productive projects, which contribute to the quality of life of its inhabitants and progress of the region.
In the same way, the Ariari Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) carried out the I Don't Pay, I Denounce campaign, raising awareness among the inhabitants with prevention recommendations towards extortion and kidnapping in the region, in turn the Military District No.5 provided the young people with information on the definition of the military situation, among other topics that provide valuable information, regarding the strengthening of citizen security and the life project of young people in Colombia.
Among other benefits, the activity had beauty and aesthetic services, veterinary and cultural, sports and directed recreation activities, achieving a comprehensive activity of great impact for its inhabitants.
