In order to continue contributing to the health and development of the most vulnerable populations in the department of Valle del Cauca, the Colombian Air Force, through the Air Combat Command No.7, in coordination with the Mayor's Office of Vijes and its Secretary of Health, a Development Support Activity carried out in that municipality, in order to benefit the entire population that requires medical assistance.
The activity began at eight o'clock in the morning, at the Technical and Technological Center of Vijes, where 2,834 people benefited with the services of the Professional Officers of the Reserve of the Colombian Air Force in general medicine, Cardiovascular Screening, internal medicine, pain medicine, dermatology, gynecology, breast exam, pediatrics, phonoaudiology, gerontology, respiratory therapy, family therapy, dentistry, psychology, physiotherapy, pharmacy, veterinary, hairdressing and manicure, as well as the dispatch of 120 medical prescriptions.
This activity provided free of charge assistance in the different specialties, in the same way, a pleasant space was created with recreational activities for the inhabitants of this municipality, contributing to the development of the civilian population and promoting processes of Comprehensive Action; in this opportunity, 953 presents were given to the population that was part of the activity.
