The criminals stole fuel directly from the pipe of the eastern pipeline to later commercialize it illegally.
Troops of the Mechanized Group No. 10 'Tequendama', of the Brigade 13, in coordination with the Technical Investigation Corps of the Prosecutor's Office, find an illegal valve for the theft of fuel, which was inside a house on the village Ranchería, of the municipality of Guachetá, in the department of Cundinamarca.
Thanks to intelligence work and some information provided by the community, the authorities arrived at the house and captured in flagrance three men and a woman who according to the investigations would be using the valve to extract the fuel of the Poliducto de Oriente. During the procedure a firearm, 57 cartridges caliber 7.65mm, a vehicle, a motorcycle, two communications radios and a cell phone were found.
