Ten officers of the National Army, one of the Chilean Air Force and one of the Dominican Republic Air Force, formally began the tour that will lead them to fulfill the dream of flying. After their arrival at the Helicopter Crews' House, they received a welcome by the Commander of the Air Combat Command No.4, who foretold successes to future of the military pilots.

The now flight students and members of the Basic Helicopter Pilot Course, will have to pass several phases to report the outlined objective, some of them are 246 academic hours, covering topics such as Instruments, doctrine, interoperability, aerodynamics and night vision goggles, among others, they will in the same way put their knowledge into practice through 96 missions, 30 hours of flight in simulator and 99 real flight hours.

The International Helicopter School for the Military Forces EIHFA, is preferred nationally and internationally, regarding the training of helicopter pilots, since thanks to the high quality standards of its educational model, it gets students to conduct demanding maneuvers, which will led them to save lives, through aeromedical evacuations, airspace defense and surveillance, personnel transportation and firefighting.

For the Colombian Air Force, it is essential that its crews report success in taking off, flying and landing safely, because only then they will be able to continue protecting Colombians from the air, regardless of the time or place, a doctrine that is taught precisely to the personnel of the different Military Forces, National Police, State security agencies and foreign students who are trained at this institution.
